St. Patrick's Day

Kansas City has one of the largest St. Patrick's Day Parades in the United States. The one downtown is third in size, with New York & Chicago coming in first & second, respectively.

Personally, I prefer the one in Brookside because it is smaller and has more of a neighborhood feel. You can bring the kids and dogs along without worrying about them getting trampled.

Here's the schedule for 2008:

Friday, March 7th 11:00 am Marriot Muehlebach

Parade Entrants Numbers Pickup Mtg.

Saturday, March 15th 10:00 am Westport Rd. & Pennsylvania
