Slow Down!
Recently I've noticed cars going much faster than the speed limit along 63rd St. in Brookside. The speed limit between Wornall and just east of Main is 25 mph. With all of the pedestrian activity in those few blocks, people really do need to reduce their speed.

St. Patrick's Day Warm Up Parade, Brookside Style
The weather was perfect for the warm up parade yesterday! We walked up to 63rd & Brookside Blvd., visited with friends at the Brooksider, then enjoyed the parade from the vantage of Meyer Blvd. People lined the streets around Brookside Blvd., 63rd St., and Meyer Blvd. Afterward, we walked down to The Gaf for dinner and drinks. The Irish Musicians were having their regular session so the place was packed with many merry friends.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

And if you miss the Brookside revelries, the Martin City St. Patrick's Day Parade and festivities are tomorrow. Sunday. They start at 11am Parade at 2pm.
